Finding Balance and Ease
23 January to 30 January 2027
1 week retreat with Inna Costantini

Join Inna for a week of exploration of Ashtanga, Yin Yoga and meditation: beginning the day with meditation, Mysore self practice, followed by afternoon workshops covering technique as well as restorative and Yin Yoga practices.
We will greet each day with a guided meditation, followed by traditional Mysore style assisted self practice, allowing each student to follow their own pace - welcoming complete beginners to advanced series practitioners. The afternoons will allow space for slowing down and exploring Yoga in more depth.
Inna, who has been practicing various forms of yoga since her teens and has over 15 years of experience in teaching classes and workshops across Europe. Her background in practice and teaching offers an inspiring and gentle perspective on Ashtanga as we understand it today.
Retreat Schedule
Morning Mysore
8am-10am: Mysore Classes (6 days)
Each morning will begin with a led meditation followed by assisted Ashtanga self practice.
Inna offers a traditional, and yet non dogmatic approach to practicing Ashtanga yoga. A balance between the strength and structure of the system with the flexibility of the individual needs of each student.
All are welcome to the Mysore class. This is a great way to begin an Ashtanga practice, for it is only natural in the self-practice scenario that a person may start to grasp the power of their experience of breath and deeper embodiment in a way that feels right for them.
Workshops: 4 to 6 pm
Yin Yoga and Meditation
An introduction to slowing down. The first afternoon class will provide space and time to turn inward. During a yoga retreat, we can explore doing less, finding a sense of ease, and exploring the subtle spaces within the body/mind. As a calming ‘antithesis’ to the dynamic mornings, Yin Yoga allows us to pause and quietly discover the inner workings of the body. We will introduce gentle pranayamas during the afternoon classes to shift the attention inwards.
Spine and hips - dynamic
An exploration of the intermediate series: an insight into the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the practice. Taking time to explore possibilities, individual modifications and alignment, whist adapting poses to our unique selves, we will seek to free up pathways that help us find greater ease and space in our body.
Yin Yoga and meditation
A time to slow down and turn inwards. In Yin Yoga, there is space to go within, pause, observe, and simply ‘do’ less. Here, postures are held for longer periods of time, to allow a deep release of tension, encourage greater awareness and soothe the nervous system.
An open space - Q&A, followed by technique and/or restorative yoga and meditation.
How we can incorporate Yoga into our practice and everyday life. The last afternoon workshop will offer the space to bring up questions, explore asana and ease into a simple slowing down. This is a time to open up to possibilities…
About the Teacher
Inna Costantini has been teaching Astanga yoga in London for over 15 years, and has led classes and retreats in Goa, Berlin, France, Italy and Scotland.
Inna first discovered yoga in London in 2000. With a background in media, anthropology and a stint in PR, she swiftly chose to trade her desk for a yoga mat, to study yoga at its source. She practiced, as well as assisted, for over twelve years under the guidance of Hamish Hendry at Astanga Yoga London. In Mysore, she received the Authorisation from R.Sharath Jois in 2014.
Inna is grateful for all the teachers and students she has shared the practice with: especially to Rolf Naujokat for his everlasting inspiration and to Norman Blair for his teachings of Yin Yoga.
Inna is fascinated by yoga in all its forms, its effects, and the intricate links between physical and mental well-being. She loves helping and watching students develop, and believes yoga is a lifelong learning process: a dedicated, regular – and yet non dogmatic– practice can only bring forth increased energy and happiness.

Practical Information About The Retreat Centre
Our retreat centre, Finca Naranjas (previously known as Cristoforo), is a simple yet deeply beautiful sanctuary nestled in the heart of South Tenerife. It was lovingly designed by architect Denis Devaris, who envisioned it as a meeting place for spiritual seekers. Built slowly over the course of 30 years using volcanic rock from the island, each room carries its own unique charm, full of character, thoughtful details, and personal touches.
The Meals
Our meals are prepared with love by our wonderful retreat chefs, offering fresh, wholesome dishes that are entirely vegetarian and mostly vegan. Wherever possible, we use local and organic ingredients to support both your wellbeing and the surrounding environment. Occasionally, eggs or dairy may be included in some meals.
If you have any food allergies or sensitivities, please let us know in advance. Gluten-free options are available.
We also have a self-service tea and coffee station available throughout the day, and we do our best to provide fresh fruit for light snacking between meals. You’re welcome to enjoy your meals either indoors or outside in the peaceful beauty of our garden.
The Practice
Our retreat offers an intimate practice setting, with a maximum of 25 students and morning classes limited to 16 participants for a more personal experience.
Sessions are held in our beautiful wooden garden Shala. During full retreats, Savasana is often enjoyed outdoors to create space in the Shala, and some afternoon workshops may also take place outside.
Please pack warm layers for practice, especially for Savasana, as mornings and evenings can be chilly.
Arrival & Departure
Rooms will be ready from 3:00pm on arrival day. The retreat begins with a welcome meeting at 6:00pm, followed by dinner at 6:30pm. We kindly ask all students to arrive in time for the introduction.
Our first practice session takes place on Sunday morning, and the final practice is on Friday morning. Check-out is on Saturday at 9:00am.
