Benefits of Monsoon Season
If you ask a long-term resident of Goa to pick their favourite time of year, they’re likely to pick the monsoon season. The rainy months offer travellers a rich and unique experience – one that’s free from crazy crowds, aggressive traffic and loud all-night parties. Goa in the monsoons is calm and restful with beautiful waterfalls, quiet Indian villages and lush spice plantations.

Over the last few years, Assagao – the small village where we’re located – has witnessed many old homes being converted into cosy restaurants, boutiques and cafes. You don’t have to walk far from Purple Valley for a specialty coffee, authentic Indian meal or artisanal handicrafts.
For over two decades, we’ve worked to create a space that nourishes a deep and authentic yogic lifestyle.
